All Fiberbuilt Golf Mats are designed to provide the ultimate golf practice experience as it relates to: Durability, Performance, and Injury Prevention.

Durability: Proprietary Fiberbuilt Grass has been engineered to withstand more than 300,000 shots on the exact same spot. Conventional turf mats will wear out with as few as 10,000 shots from the same location and will be completely worn out after fewer than 50,000 shots.

Performance: Only Fiberbuilt golf mats have been engineered to provide the exact same ball flight characteristics as a real grass fairway. Using Trackman, we have tested Fiberbuilt Grass vs the competition and a real grass fairway in terms of the following ball flight factors: club speed, ball speed, smash factor, spin rate, and launch angle. No one else comes close to the performance of Fiberbuilt.

Injury Prevention: Traditional turf-based golf mats used at some driving ranges typically offer very little impact absorption and can actually be the root cause of golf injuries. Fiberbuilt golf mats have been engineered to virtually eliminate “turf shock” caused by traditional golf mats, minimizing stress on the lead elbow and shoulder to reduce injury.

A study at the University of Calgary Performance Laboratory, Sports Medicine Center reported that 90% of the participants using the Fiberbuilt Grass Mats felt it offered the most absorption and overall best quality. The mat simulates hitting off a lush fairway, therefore reducing the risk of injury.

    Fiberbuilt Golf Mats
I love this mat, I hate I wasted money on anything else. Should have bought this years ago. Perfect studio mat!

  2. Oliver

The best golf mat I have ever experienced!
The quality of this golf mat is very high and it exceeded my expectations. The feeling of it underneath my feet and for the club is pleasant . On chunks, it doesn’t send painful shocks all the way to my joints. I made a sound investment to improve my golf game for years to come.

  3. Noah

    Perfect mat
    Great item–exactly as hoped.

  4. Liam

    Fiber built god mat
Love it . I would totally recommend this mat to anyone.

  5. Emma

    Great hitting mat!
This is the most realistic hitting mat I’ve used. I’ve played off many hitting mats and always my club get snagged on the mat. Or the mat corrected an obvious bat hit into an OK hit. The Fiberbuilt hitting is as close to hitting of real grass as you can get.

Mats Increase Your Risk of Injury

But if you’re one of those who tend to hit sharply down and through the ball, the resulting heavy impacts can only lead to aching muscles at best, and incapacitating injuries at worst.

Look for a hitting mat that keeps your body and the ball on the same level. You probably don’t want the ball above or below your feet for most of your practice time. Depending on what shot you want to play, consider a mat that simulates hitting out of the rough, second cut, and Fiberbuilt.

Aim to get the biggest mat you can accommodate based on the space you have available.

Mat Recommendations by Height.
Your Height Optimal Mat Sizes
< 5’3″ 3’x4′, 3’x5′ or 4’x4′
5’3″ – 6′ 4’x5′ or 5’x5′
> 6′ or for use w/simulator 5’x6′ or 5’x10′

Most mats are made from a highly durable nylon surface and rubber base so that they can handle the repeated beating of club strikes over time.

There. Now on this cut you don’t want to go all the way through the turf you’re just going to cut the foam off of the mat.

The Fiberbuilt is 1 1/2 inches thick to the top of the “grass” mat. The sensors are 3/4 inch high and must not be covered.

The Fiberbuilt is a great option for golfers looking to play indoors for less than $1000. It is a great choice for those who want to keep their game alive during the offseason or for beginners who want to improve their swing and break 100. The SkyTrak is more expensive but is still the overall best value for the price.

Fiberbuilt cannot be used in direct sunlight. Fiberbuilt is designed to be used indoors and must have the proper lighting conditions for its infrared sensors to function accurately.

First off, the Fiberbuilt is the newly released version of Fiberbuilt . The hardware is the same as Fiberbuilt , however it’s the software that is vastly improved. If you have an older version you can upgrade for $100. Fiberbuilt is a golf simulator that let’s you play full rounds on digital versions of real courses.
