4 reviews for Fiberbuilt 10′ x 10′ Double-Hitting Combo Mat

  1. Noah

Love the combo mat so far
Really wanted to have a putting green in my basement and was in the market for a golf mat as well. Opted to go with the Fiberbuilt combined mat and am happy with my decision thus far. I previously owned a country club elite golf mat, and think the Fiberbuilt hitting mat performs just as well if not better.

  2. Olivia

    Great product
    Very satisfied

  3. Liam

    Good golf net
I am using it in my garage to practice during adverse weather. It’s been hard to get to the range this year

  4. Emma

    Nice Net
Nice net as advertised. Works well for hitting golf balls inside!

Double Hit Definition

A double hit occurs when a player touches the ball with more than one body part while trying to hit the ball.

Scenario: A player unintentionally hits the ball twice with a single stroke. … New rule: Now players are granted much more leniency under Rule 10.1a which states, “If your club accidentally hits the ball more than once, there has been only one stroke and there is no penalty.”

As for double hits, if a player hits his ball twice in one stroke, accidentally or intentionally, he must count the original stroke and incur a one-stroke penalty, and then play it where it lies. In effect, it’s a one-shot penalty.

Rule 10.1(a) Fairly Striking the Ball

If the player’s club accidentally hits the ball more than once, there has been only one stroke and there is no penalty.

No Penalty to Any Player Exception – Ball Played on Putting Green in Stroke Play: If the player’s ball in motion hits another ball at rest on the putting green and both balls were on the putting green before the stroke, the player gets the general penalty (two penalty strokes).

The rule has been amended to only count one shot and no penalty if a player accidentally hits the ball twice. Trick shot artists have used the new rule to try and get around trees, but the shot is illegal.

When the batter intentionally hits the ball twice, the batter is out. When the batter accidentally hits the ball twice, the play can be ruled a foul ball, dead ball, or an out.

New Rule: Under Rule 11.1, for all accidental deflections, including when the ball hits the player or opponent or their equipment or caddies: There is no penalty and the ball is played as it lies (with limited exceptions).

New golf rules 2019: Golfers can ground their club in a hazard, or penalty area. … It didn’t matter if it was a lateral water hazard or a regular water hazard. It didn’t matter if the ball was in grass in a water hazard or in the water. You couldn’t ground your club.
