What are the specifications are required to run Awesome Golf?

For PC: The minimum specs for Awesome Golf are very low due to an efficient 3D engine and uncomplicated graphics system. You need to have an internet connection at the same time as being connected to the FlightScope for Awesome Golf to work. iPads only allow one WiFi connection, so this can be a problem. The easiest solution is to use an iPad which has a 4G or 5G cell/mobile data connection built-in. Some folks are able to get internet through a Bluetooth connection to their phone, but this depends on the network. Another option is to attach a compatible ethernet adapter to the iPad and connect the ethernet cable to a WiFi access point / router / network switch. It is also possible to use an ethernet connection to FlightScope models with an ethernet port, e.g. X3.

I’m currently on the 2 week free trial. I have this connected to Garmin R10. It’s a great app, the stats are pretty on point. I used this at a driving range so I was comparing my ball flight with the stats and they were pretty accurate. I’m just wondering why this app is more accurate than the Garmin app itself. The only reason I haven’t bought the lifetime fee is because I play virtual golf a lot and you only have 4 courses. Home tee hero has 42,000+ courses. Once you fix that I’ll consider it.

Loved the simulator, but now that my trial is over, I can’t justify paying these ridiculous prices to continue using it. $350 USD for a lifetime membership or pay $200 for the privileged to pay a monthly subscription of $10 a month. The sim is good, but not nearly good enough to pay these prices. I’ll continue to use the Garmin golf apps for my R10, these prices are just asanine. I’d happily pay $15/mo, but to drop $200 initially to continue paying? Not worth it.

Works great with the Garmin R10, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to get into the app to review any data after a sessions without being connected to the R10.

Amazing app. Very accurate for me to improve my game and super fun for the whole family. We love the shootouts! If you’re looking to continue to improve I would suggest a short, easy 9 hole track that that has all forward tees less than 100 yds (30-100yds) so young kids can play a full 9. Another option would be to allow users to select which holes from each of your 4 courses they would like to make up their 9. That way you can select the 6 or 7 par 3s and a couple short par 4s.
