SIG™ Premium Golf Simulator Screen – Raw Fabric

Golf introduces standalone golf impact screens as the newest addition to the SIGPRO™ family of products.

These golf screens are designed and manufactured in house, and are ideal for those looking to create a DIY golf simulator.

This is raw screen material with unfinished edges, and can be mounted to a frame or enclosure utilizing tarp clips.

SIG™ Premium is our top of the line golf hitting screen and was specifically engineered to outperform in 4 areas: image quality, longevity, bounce back, and noise.

For a screen with vinyl edges and grommets, be sure to check out our Golf Simulator Impact Screen.

SIG™ Premium fabric is exclusive to Golf – you won’t find it anywhere else. It took us several months of development working with one of the leading mills in the world, but the end result is premium impact screen material that we’re proud to call our own. But don’t just take our word for it…

In independent, head-to-head testing conducted by the team at MyGolfSpy, with its mission to inform and protect the golf consumer with unbiased data-driven methods, the SIGPRO™ Premium Golf Simulator Impact Screen outperformed what has been the industry’s most popular impact screen on the market. The results proved the durability of the new SIGPRO™ Premium screen is superior to the competition, while also delivering reduced sound and bounce back.

Superior Image Quality

Thick, multilayer, and smooth spacer mesh fabric allows for:

  • Clear & crisp image (up to 4K quality)
  • Minimal bleed-through
  • No grain effect or pixelation (common with non-smooth surfaces)

Indoor Golf Screen Built To Last

The SIG™ Premium screen is built to last. Other vendors are quick to point out that screens are “wearable” products – and as a result they don’t offer a warranty. That doesn’t sit well with us.

While they’re right in that screens are “wearable” products, we believe that a properly constructed screen should last an extended period of time without fraying, ripping, or tearing.

Our screens have been put through the ringer. They’ve been tested to withstand thousands of shots at ball speeds up to 250 mph.

As a result, we stand behind our product – and for that reason SIG™ Premium screens come with a full 1 year warranty*. If your screen rips or tears within a year, we’ll fix or replace your screen. Simple as that.

Thickest Golf Screen Material

SIG™ Premium fabric is the thickest and smoothest within the golf simulation space. It’s made up of two heavy duty, tight knit impact resistant polyester surfaces that sandwich vertical spacer yarns, creating a unique three layer surface.

  • Quiet – vertical spacers acts as “cushion” and dampen the noise emitted by the golf ball impacting the screen
  • Longer Lifespan – smooth surface decreases amount of time golf ball spins on the surface, reducing wear and extending the life of the screen
  • Low bounce back – the interior surface containing the spacer yarns absorbs much of the impact, resulting in lower ball bounce back

    Premium Golf Impact Screen
I am very happy with my impact screen. The impact screen does a great job on absorbing the strike of the golf ball and noise of impact. The screen also shows a very nice picture from my projector.
My screen is very new but after at least 2000 hits I can say that there appears to no problems at all. Great purchase and delivery experience.

  2. Emma

    Better than I expected
Very easy to attach and my kids can easily roll and unroll to use! You can’t really tell from the pictures, but it DOES have extra netting toward the bottom to collect the balls so you’re not chasing them everywhere. My boys have used for batting and pitching and has held up great!

  3. Olivia

    Works well for golf
Using it for golf… works great 👍

  4. Noah

    Great for Practicing Disc Golf
This product is so simple to install and you can keep it up all year; you never have to take it down. When you’re done using it just roll it up and that’s it. It stays right on the garage door. I use it to practice disc golf. If it’s rainy I stay inside the garage. If it’s sunny I go to the other side of the net and throw from my driveway. It’s perfect. Highly recommend.

  5. Alexander

    Washable golf screen

What I like about it is that you’re able to take it down and wash it if it gets too dirty. This is outside in my backyard occasionally it gets a little dirty

What Are Golf Impact Screens Made Of? Polyester mesh is a good fabric choice since it’s lightweight, durable, and affordable. Varying levels of screen quality can be achieved by adding layers of polyester mesh, making the screen sturdier and preventing light from bleeding through.

Approx 3mm thick. About twice as thick s our standrd poly golf impact screen material. This new golf screen material is available in 121 inch widths.

Keep enough space between the screen and any walls or objects behind it to avoid contact when the screen is hit. This actual distance required will depend on the force of your swing, but in most cases 12-16 inches is recommended.

How far can the tee box be from the screen? The hitting area should be 9-10 1/2 feet from screen.

Blankets. This is the cheapest option and if hung behind your screen will probably do a good job at absorbing some of the impact of your golf shots. Any large and preferably heavy blanket will do. They won’t be as effective as the options above but are worth a try.

What size golf simulator screen do I need? Our most recommended screen size for golf simulation is something within a few inches of 9.5′ Wide x 7′ High. This will allow a common short throw projector with a throw ratio of . 5:1 to fill up the entire screen from a projection distance of around 6′.

Overall, if you are more concerned about the protection of your device, we would advise you to use our 3D Impact Protector, Impact Flex Screen Protector or Impact Protection Screen Protector.

Your impact screen needs to be durable, which means it should withstand many thousands of impacts with golf balls travelling at high speed. The Preferred screen from Carl’s Place is rated for a lifespan of 2000-5000 shots whilst the Premium Screen is rated for up to 15000 shots.

High quality golf simulator impact screens are normally made of Kevlar and cost thousands of dollars. At Heavy Duty Tarps we offer extremely cost-effective screens that can be made to your exact specifications.

Its a 3mm thick screen that has a cushion in between the poly layers. Think of this golf screen as a quilt. Its about 2 times as thick as our standard poly golf screen. This golf screen combines the durability , low sound, minimum bounce back and great HD image.

The impact screens used in golf practice simulators represent a growing market with many unique challenges. They must show a clear image of the simulated fairway while remaining durable enough to stand up to thousands of impacts over time.

Polyester mesh is a popular choice for golf impact screens due to the strength of the fabric. A polyester mesh that is durable enough to not tear when struck with fast-moving golf balls, and woven tightly enough to provide you the best image quality possible, is going to make the best material for a golf impact screen.

HomeCourse Pro Retractable Golf Simulator Screen

The screen is made of ballistic grade material designed to absorb the impact of a golf ball that can handle drives from the heaviest hitters using real golf balls without damage to the screen.

Your impact screen should be 12-16” away from the wall behind it. Then, it’s a best practice to place your tee 10-15′ away from the impact screen. Lastly, make sure you have enough room behind the tee to swing easily. In total, that’s at least 15′ deep is ideal for a golf simulator room.

If your training golf balls are clean, no dirt transfers on the cloth. Make sure you clean the balls you are using for practice and you should have no problem with using this for many year
