GT1080HDR is capable to accept native 4K signals and compatible with HDR. Energy Saving
Using the specially designed lamp modes, you can reduce the power consumption by up to 70%. Each mode also has a positive effect on the lamp life, while lowering the total cost of ownership and reducing maintenance.
Auto power offThere may be instances when the projector is left running when not in use. To help save energy if the projector is left running and no source is detected, the “Auto power off” feature automatically turns off the projector after a set period of time.
Eco AV MuteStay in control of your presentation with Eco AV mute. Direct your audience’s attention away from the screen by blanking the image when no longer needed. This also reduces the power consumption by up to 70%, further prolonging the life of your lamp.
Quick Resume
This feature allows the projector to be instantly powered on again, if it is accidentally switched off.
Direct power off
You can powered off your projector immediately or directly at the mains. Should you require to turn you projector back on immediately it will take about 90 seconds to start up.

Great but………
Sooooo. Originally I was very disappointed. I just didnt see the picture as clear as I wanted too, but….turns out running a 4k firestick isn’t the best idea for this model. I couldn’t even access a bunch of different settings in the setting menu when I had I firestick running. Before I returned this i thought I would buy a nvidia shield (they aren’t cheap but its incredible the difference it makes) WOW! The shield made this projector work the way it was intended too. The AI upscaling makes the picture crisp and really utilizes the 4k option on this machine. I haven’t used this for gaming yet, I bought it more for sports – but I’ve read at this price point, you wont find a better projector for gaming. I mounted this on my celing and it was a gigantic pain in the a$$. Took me 2 days and many holes to get it almost perfect on my 100″ screen. I bought a mount and only used certain parts of it as to keep it close to the ceiling to get the picture right. Nobody said mounting a short throw is easy. It sucks. If you are worried about brightness don’t, this thing is like the sun especially since it’s a short throw (shorter distance = less loss of light) Also I’m sensitive to the “rainbow effect” and unfortunately notice it with this projector, I think the only way to avoid this is to spend big bucks or get a 3 chip rather than a color wheeled device, I’m getting use to it and the nvidia shield made the rainbow effect much much much better. Overall I am enjoying this projector, I did a ton of research and settled on this model, I’m glad I did.

Good Projector, But lamp died in less than 400 hours of use.
Good Projector, But very disappointed lamp died in less than 400 hours of use in dynamic mode. which is much shorter than the 15000 hours advertised.

Great picture, exceeded expectations!
I am very happy with this projector, received it today and hooked it up 6 feet from the wall, it produced a 160” clear crisp image! Brightness is great. I was debating between this and a 77” OLED, and I am glad I saved thousands and got a much bigger picture! It’s like having my own personal theater!

A good day time projector
I had 4 projector that i thought where good projectors. boy was I wrong. First was a 800i projector. Then 3 1080P projectors including the YABER Y21 (the last toy projector). I thought the Yaber was every good but could not have any lights on. And the Yaber say the Y21 has 9000 Lumens and 8000: 1 contrast ratio. Neither of these statements are true. But this Optoma GT1080HDR is so much better. I can have the lights on and still looks damn good. and turn out the lights makes the image look like a TV. If your budget can swing a good projector I say leave the toy projectors alone and get a real projector.

Stunning HDR and 120hz for a projector
Love this projector. Sharp 1080p image. Not quite as bright as I thought it would be but still very bright. Definitely not usable in the daytime. If you know how to use the settings you can get an amazingly colorful and deep contrast.
