Description
The MEVO+ is a launch monitor from FlightScope, designed to provide golfers with real-time performance data. The Pro Package likely refers to a premium offering that may include additional features, software, or accessories.
Face Impact Location
The Face Impact Location is a crucial metric for golfers, indicating where on the clubface the ball makes contact. This can significantly affect the ball’s flight, spin, and distance. A center-face impact is usually ideal for maximizing distance and accuracy.
MEVO+ Pro Package
While the standard MEVO+ provides a range of data including carry distance, clubhead speed, ball speed, smash factor, vertical launch angle, spin, apex height, and flight time, it does not natively measure the Face Impact Location. However, the Pro Package might include additional software or features that can provide this metric, possibly through the integration of video analysis or additional sensors.
Video Integration
Some advanced golf analysis software integrates video capture to analyze the impact location on the clubface. By synchronizing high-speed video with launch monitor data, it might be possible to determine the face impact location accurately.
Confirmation and Additional Details
Since the availability of features can vary, and new features might be added in updates or newer models, it is recommended to confirm the availability of the Face Impact Location feature in the MEVO+ Pro Package directly from FlightScope or an authorized dealer. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the features and capabilities of their products.
User Manual or Official Website
For the most accurate and detailed information about the features and capabilities of the MEVO+ Pro Package, refer to the user manual that comes with the product or visit the official FlightScope website. They usually have detailed product descriptions, feature lists, and FAQs that can answer specific queries about their products.
The MEVO+ Pro Package includes a multi-purpose golf launch monitor that can provide various data points related to your golf swing. To get the most accurate readings, it is important to place the MEVO+ in the correct location.
For face impact location, it is recommended to place the MEVO+ on the ground about 3-4 feet behind the ball and 1-2 feet to the side of the target line, facing towards the ball. This position allows the MEVO+ to accurately track the ball’s flight and capture data on the club’s face impact location at impact.
It is important to note that the MEVO+ uses doppler radar technology to track the ball and provide data on the club’s impact location. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that there are no obstacles or interference between the MEVO+ and the ball, as this can affect the accuracy of the data.
Additionally, it is recommended to use the included metallic dots on the face of the club to enhance the accuracy of the data on the club’s impact location. These dots reflect the radar signal and provide a more precise reading on the location of impact.

Once I put a halogen light in my hitting area it has worked well. I’ve validated the impact information using impact tape and it appears to be spot on. It is really convenient to not have to use impact tape and to have the historical record. It would just be nicer if I didn’t have to setup my halogen light to use it.

I was skeptical of what the accuracy of the face impact location data would be, however, it seems extremely accurate. I can see where my smash factor is being compromised right away,

Great value for the money. Takes a bit to figure out the optimal/most accurate way to set it up and there are some great third party YouTube videos I found very helpful. I primarily use it at my outside range, which does not have a I do not have a Trackman. I do not have an indoor simulator so I am unable to comment on those features and for outdoor use, this is a great product.

I love the item but at the moment it is not up and running . Keeps on saying the lighting is a problem. Also since I have had it my Mevo Plus is playing up . When I use the Mevo Plus with the E6 there is no problem . Alone it is a problem at the moment and as explained I have to use the E6 in my lessons .

I have used both sprays and impact tapes to check the impact locations in the past but I find the Mevo+ face impact location is much more convenient to use and provides more useful information. I have already improved my swings after a few sessions.
I do wish the lighting requirements can be lower for indoor use. The device does not seem to register any impact positions for the longer clubs (faster swings) under the normal indoor lighting suitable for most golf simulators.
