Optoma X318ST is a short-throw DLP (digital light processing) projector that is designed to be used in small to medium-sized spaces, such as classrooms, meeting rooms, and home theaters. With its short-throw lens, the projector can display a large image from a short distance, making it ideal for use in spaces where the projector needs to be placed close to the screen or wall.
The Optoma X318ST has a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA), a brightness of 3300 ANSI lumens, and a contrast ratio of 20,000:1. It also features a range of connectivity options, including HDMI, VGA, USB, and audio inputs, as well as a built-in speaker.
Other features of the Optoma X318ST include a 10-watt speaker, a lamp life of up to 10,000 hours, and support for 3D content when used with compatible 3D glasses. The projector also comes with a remote control for easy operation, and its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to transport between locations.

Great projector for the money
This is my 2nd Optima projector but the first 4k. I had to upgrade my DirecTV receiver and wow, what a great picture. I’m not a gamer but there’s absolutely no blur when watching action movies or sports

All around great projector
It’s a great projector for a movie room. The hdr gets a little too dark at times. As for rainbow effect, it doesn’t exist. I think it’s clearer than my 4k TV. Brightness is good for a dark room, but don’t buy this thinking it’s good for a lit room

Excelent Projector
The projector is great, the image is perfect, it is easy to use and set. The sound it is not so good and do to the device is not built in bluetooth, I have to use an 3.5 mm jack or an external bluetooth transmitter

Great out of the box picture quality
I was a bit skeptical to buy this initially but it blew my mind. I am projecting on a 120” silverticket grey screen and the picture quality is amazing. The brightness is awesome. I reviewed vava before this and it performed well across all categories compared to vava. Go ahead with it confidently. However, i never played games and cant comment on it.

Great picture, good sound. Sound lacks great bass but is very good. Haven’t noticed the rainbow effects that some reviews mention.

Excellent product
Pros Great display and picture quality. Warp calibration tool is excellent. No need for a projector screen. Excellent audio. Works fine with low to medium ambient light. Excellent color reproduction. Easy and hassle free setup. Cons Native app support is terrible. I use fire stick 4k. HDMI dongles are only supported in the the HDMI 1.4 port. Need to use a HDMI extender. My expectations were high due it’s steep price tag. Ticked all boxes so far.
