Please Note –

  • A. The Simulator Software, Projector, Turf and Home Series Net are not included in this purchase.
  • B. Simulator Screens are the one product that we do not accept returns on. The screen is made of white polyester fabric and can easily be smudged or stained if handled improperly. Please consider this prior to purchase…
  • C. When the product arrives it will be folded in the box and have wrinkles and creases. Utilize an iron on a medium setting to remove any wrinkles.

Brent Keeth came up with an ingenious way to straighten out the far edges of our screen using a 8′ length of 1/2″ copper tube. See his photos on our Optoma HD 1080p Short Throw Projector  Simulator Screen page… Thanks Brent!

    Great value

This is perfect for a projection screen for the Spornia net. The price was great. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is that the target circles are very visible on the reverse plain side.

  7. Evelyn

    It works

Easy to put up and keeps my golf balls clean so my skytrak can read them. Haven’t used it as projector screen yet

  8. Henry

    Works ok

Has held up so far. It looks a lot small when put on a net.

  9. Isabella

In short, the 4:3 is often more common for golf simulators because it allows you to go taller, giving you more room to swing, without needing a wider room. While the 16:9 is great for 4K and HD images it also means you will need a minimum of 13.5 feet of available width.

And side protection using it might be fine tile. So it might be carpet. To give you that protection from. You know shots that go above the screen or to the side of the screen the dreaded shanks.

Create enough space

This actual distance required will depend on the force of your swing, but in most cases 12-16 inches is recommended. Caution: To decrease your risk of bounce back and greatly reduce the chances of getting hit with a golf ball do *not* stand closer than 10-11 feet away from the screen.

For those who want the full golf simulation experience in their house, using a projector with a golf screen is one of the best options. You are able to display your shots directly in front of you on a large surface that gives you an enhanced field of view.

Blankets. This is the cheapest option and if hung behind your screen will probably do a good job at absorbing some of the impact of your golf shots. Any large and preferably heavy blanket will do.

Bungees. Then attached to the screen all the way around. And then our trim then velcro’s to both parties. Both bits of velcro on the angle line and on the screen that gives you your finished. Screen.

Your impact screen needs to be durable, which means it should withstand many thousands of impacts with golf balls travelling at high speed. The Preferred screen from Carl’s Place is rated for a lifespan of 2000-5000 shots whilst the Premium Screen is rated for up to 15000 shots.

Memory foam is much more energy absorbing than conventional foam, greatly reducing the “bounce back” effect from a ball or puck. Memory foam will deaden a projectile, without a return of energy that sends it ricocheting across the room.

You can make your golf simulator more quiet by optimising your impact screen, using softer balls, adding easy soundproofing options such as acoustic wall and ceiling panels, using heavy curtains, bookcases and even installing professional soundproofing solutions.

The distance between the hitting area and screen in your golf simulator should be at least 6-7ft and can be up to 14ft and longer. The tee to screen distance is a balance between immersion, reducing impact screen bounceback and allowing maximal accuracy from your launch monitor.

I use the target screen with a net.

This is just the net. If you buy something like Rapsodo or Trackman that will tell distanc

It’s probably okay to leave it on, but the net is so easy to put up and take down, that I’d not leave it out in bad weather. It’s a fabric target and attaches easily with a loop and velcro. I can set up the net in under a minute.
