After hearing from our customers and trying all the sigpro golf mats the industry has to offer, we discovered that there was room for major improvement.
Through many long hours of brainstorming and rigorous testing we decided to develop the perfect mat for the everyday golfer.
With the SIGPRO™ Softy golf mats we did exactly that. Also available in our larger SIGPRO 4 x 10 Golf Mat.

Featuring the SIGPRO Softy Hitting Strip
We set out to create the very best, most realistic hitting strip on the market. Think Augusta fairways, think Pinehurst – the SIGPRO Softy Hitting Strip is designed to feel like the very best fairways in the game.
How? After testing and deconstructing other mats from all the other companies, our design team discovered innovative materials and construction methods to produce the most realistic hitting surface that eliminates all possibilities of pain and soreness in your joints. The SIGPRO Softy is our most premium artificial turf that is second to none in playability, accuracy, and responsive shape.
Design
Softy’s innovative design starts in the middle with a super soft foam insert. A plush layer of 1-inch thick Teeline turf mimics real grass feel while providing 100% accurate feedback on great shots and mishits. A thin layer of responsive ABS polyurethane allows for the flex action to occur at impact and then returns the turf to its original shape.
Three compression slots on the bottom of the Softy act as release valves so as the turf is compressed at impact, the air pressure dissipates giving the golfer a realistic and smooth follow through without the sharp vibrations that other hitting mats produce.

SIGPRO™ Golf Mats are as American as apple pie.
No corners were cut and no expenses were spared in creating this mat. While the other mats are also well made and of a high quality, common feedback is that they are either too forgiving, too grabby, or don’t take a tee. Our mat was created as a response to our wants and needs as golfers.

Such a nice Golf Mat
The SIGPRO Softy is such a nice golf mat, and a huge upgrade from the old mat I was using. My previous mat was very jarring and it was starting to take it’s toll on my wrists and elbows, the Softy is great in that regard. I can still feel if i’m hitting the ball fat, but the impact of shots isn’t jarring to my body.

Great product
I purchased the SIGPRO Softy 4’ x 10’ golf mat a few months ago (because I am left handed), very happy with the purchase. Now purchased the 4’ x 7’ golf mat to go between the net and the 4’ x 10’ so the balls roll back to me instead of needing to bend over and pick them up. The 4’ x 7’ is the same excellent quality. However, the shade of green of the “astroturf” is lighter than the 4’ x 10’, and also lighter than the hitting patch. Not sure why it is a different color. So, overall a good product, but unfortunate that they do not match.

Mat is great. It doesn’t get the props in the sim world as the fiber built or divot action concepts,, but the feel is awesome. The mat is considerably thicker than most I’ve seen, great for a garage . Expect to get 2″ closer to your ceiling for those with tight spaces.. Fat shots punish distance but not your joints. It’s nice to put a tee in the mat instead of using birtees. Note: I suggest ordering tee claw from Amazon as the tee goes flying.
Cons: 4×7 is an odd shape. I’d prefer 5×5 and maybe save $100.
These are two foam puzzle pieces that interlock to create the 4×7 shape. The interlocking area is almost directly under my feet. Again back to the chosen dimensions this may have been avoidable. All in all, this mat is as good as anything on the market that I’ve seen, hence the price tag.

Excellent Hitting Mat
This is an excellent hitting mat with the specific insert that really duplicates what it’s like to hit off soft ground. I would definitely purchase this again. It’s a very high-quality.

Sigpro softy, great golf mat!
I have been using this golf mat quite a bit for a few weeks now and love it. I no longer have sore hands, wrists and shoulders from hitting a ton of balls. I also use this in my garage sim setup that I have to put together and take apart every session. The mat is very easy to move and set off to the side, very important for me. The hitting area is also not too forgiving on fat shots. Overall I would highly recommend this mat.
