Incorporating Maxell’s leading edge technology, the MCEX-5001 features an image enhancing combination of accentualizer, high dynamic contrast range (HDCR2) and image optimizer, all of which contribute to the overall visual experience.

It is equipped with vertical & horizontal keystone correction, and comes with Perfect Fit 2 which enables users to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another making geometric correction a breeze. MC-EX5001 Projector Features
Accentualizer
Maxell original technology makes pictures look more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss and shade to make pictures as clear as pictures on a flat-panel device. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are the actual colors of the objects they represent.
HDCR2 (High Dynamic Contrast Range)
When average projectors are used in bright rooms, the darker colors of an image deteriorate and images become unclear. Using this function, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, and an effect similar to increasing contrast occurs. The recent enhancement to HDCR2 achieves not only auto tone enhancement but also auto color enhancement. This results in clear and vivid images even in bright rooms.
Image Optimizer
The Image Optimizer automatically adjusts HDCR2 and Accentualizer to improve visibility as lamp brightness dims over time.
Four Corner Correction
Four corner geometric correction enables quick and easy image adjustments from any of the corner points of the image. This is ideal for uneven or angled projection surfaces.
MHL
MHL (Mobile High-Definition) allows users to mirror their phone/tablet screen with the projector display. It is compatible with any and all apps.
Perfect Fit 2
Enables the user to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another. Perfect Fit 2 provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pin cushion distortions. This feature helps correct geometric and complicated distortions. It allows the projected image to fit correctly to the screen quickly and easily.
1.6 x Zoom Lens
Featuring a powerful 1.6× manual zoom lens, the projector allows for a greater range of installation possibilities.

5,200 ANSI lumens projector designed for academic achievement in larger classrooms, corporate boardrooms and campus standard.

The MC-EX5001 combines XGA 1024 x 768 resolution with super-bright 5,200 ANSI lumens white/color light output for a stunning visual achievement. It can transform classrooms, lecture halls, and auditoriums into true learning centers. Incorporating Maxell’s leading-edge technology, the MC-EX5001 features an image-enhancing combination of Accentualizer, High Dynamic Contrast Range (HDCR), and Image Optimizer, all of which contribute to the overall visual experience.

Present in rooms with ambient light with the Maxell MC-EX5001 5200-Lumen XGA 3LCD Projector. It features 5200 lumens of color and white brightness to overcome ambient light in many situations, and its 1024 x 768 XGA native resolution will help keep images and text clear at most viewing distances.

Composite video, two HDMI, and two VGA inputs help ensure compatibility with a variety of source types. One VGA input can instead act as an output to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays to show the same image source in multiple places. A built-in 16W speaker mitigates the need for an external sound system, though you can use one with the analog audio inputs and output. An IR remote control and a VGA cable are included as an added convenience.

This technology helps make images appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are closer to the actual colors of the objects they represent.

The MC-EX5001 offers a DICOM Simulation Mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation Mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, which makes the MC-EX5001 useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.

Using HDCR, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, helping to make images appear clearer, even in bright rooms.

This feature automatically adjusts HDCR and Accentualizer to enhance visibility as lamp brightness dims over time.

Using this mode, up to 50 computers can be connected to the projector, and the moderator (host) can choose which images to show on the screen. Each connected computer must have LiveViewer software installed.

Project the same image on up to 12 projectors simultaneously for use in large venues where a single screen isn’t enough.

Maxell’s Projector Management Software (PJMan) enables you to control, diagnose, and manage one or a group of Maxell projectors, including their power status, lamp hours, and temperature and air filter conditions.
