Description

The Garmin Descent T1 transmitter is an accessory designed for use with the Garmin Descent Mk2i dive computer. The T1 transmitter allows you to monitor tank pressure and air consumption data directly on the wrist-mounted dive computer.

The T1 transmitter is capable of transmitting tank pressure data to the Descent Mk2i dive computer from up to 10 different tanks. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to wirelessly transmit data, and is powered by a user-replaceable CR123A battery that provides up to 100 hours of use.

The transmitter is designed to be attached to the high-pressure port of your scuba tank, and can be easily installed and removed using a standard hex key. It has a rugged construction and is rated for use in depths of up to 328 feet (100 meters).

In addition to tank pressure data, the Descent Mk2i dive computer can also display air time remaining (ATR) and gas consumption rate (GCR) data based on the tank pressure readings from the T1 transmitter. This allows you to more accurately monitor your air consumption and dive planning, and make adjustments as needed.

Overall, the Garmin Descent T1 transmitter is a useful accessory for the Descent Mk2i dive computer, allowing for more accurate and comprehensive dive data monitoring.

Track your every breath when you pair the Descent T1 transmitter with a Descent dive computer. Monitor up to 5 tanks via SubWave sonar technology so you can dive with multiple tanks or see your buddy’s air levels.

Descent T1 enables you to monitor tank pressure, remaining air time and air consumption rate for multiple types of diving.

5 reviews for Garmin Descent T1 Transmitter for Descent Mk2i

    My wife loves it

This really is a top notch watch. The watch pretty much does everything you need almost independently without the phone. It is great if your on vacation and don’t want to carry extra items with you that you may lose such as credit cards etc. Really accurate dive computer. Saves and logs everything so you really don’t need to manually put anything on paper anymore if you so choose.

    Great!

Great watch for diving and running. Have to lookout for battery life but still a wonderful timepiece and active life wear.

    Garmin did it!

Never expected a company like Garmin to do what I always thought Casio was going to do first. Battery life is extraordinary considering it is communicating with the transmitter all the time. Diving 5 days a week cleaning boats only leaves me wanting for a deeper setting to start dives, it is 4 feet and can not be changed. Many times it ends my dives because of it, but it is the nature of my work, when cleaning large boats it works as expected. Oh, and I go though my week with one precautionary charge in between, it can possibly last the five days with 6 hours of diving a day. The tracking of other aspects of your life such as breathing rate is impressive, and even if it were to not be perfectly accurate, it is still a great support tool for health and sports. Speaking of which, it is ready for ALL of them, from playing golf to jumping out of an airplane, to holding your breath to freedive. And it can be set in indoor modes for gym use too. Pretty sure there will be detractors, there always are, but this things really does it all with a high level of care, and customization.

The edge (bezel) of the watch is soft enough to scratch with relative ease, the glass however is all but bullet proof. It would be desirable to have more and better options to protect this high end product from cosmetic blemishes for everyday use, but it’s not a perfect world, is it?

  5. Benjamin (store manager)

It does everything and it’s beautiful!

I have a verrrrry small wrist and I was worried this watch wouldn’t fit or it’d be too big on my wrist, but I absolutely love it! It fits great, is comfortable when I’m sleeping, the battery life is substantial, it literally does everything you could ever need, and it’s easy to navigate if you read the manual. Haha! The first and last watch I’ll ever own. So so happy with this purchase.
