    Great Range Finder
I love the combination of conventional range finder and GPS distance.
I like the clarity of the eye piece. Things are very clear, even at a great distance.
I don’t like that I have to recharge the battery every time I use it.
It does not have any slope or elevation correction. I don’t mind at all, but some users may prefer those features. As far as I know, there are no hybrid range finders with these features available.
I use this range finder virtually every day and I truly love it.

    Needs some improvements
I love the concept but they need to make some improvements. 1. No slope capability. 2. No off button for the GPS and the shut off timer doesn’t work. 3. GPS display is hard to see even if backlight is on. It loses the course a few times a round so you have to reset it. I do like the idea and having the green distances is great. However, I hope they make some improvements on future models.

  3. Emma

    Disappointing battery
GPS battery doesn’t hold a charge. If not charged right before the round it won’t last for 18 holes.

  4. Liam

    Like the GPS
I have always used a Lazer range finder. But having this GPS built into the unit really helps. This time of year in Ore. most courses go to Power cats must keep on the path.. So I can look at the GPS and see what clubs I am going to need. Rather than grabbing 4 or 5 clubs. Now I normally just take 2 or 3. And with pins in the back. I now know how much room I have over the pin to the back of the green. BUt can’t get the unit to par with my phone to give me an overview of the holes and trouble. They say you can get 2 rounds out of the battery of the GPS. I have only got 27 holes.

    Not mountable
Older Bushnell Rangfinders had a little screw in them so you could buy a mount for your cart. When you drove up to your ball, you could just glance at it to see your middle/front/center yardages if you didn’t want/need to also shoot the yardage. It would also make it easy for playing partners to see these yardages without picking up the device.

This model doesn’t have that, so it sits in the cart and I have to pick it up to look at it every time.

I know it sounds minor, and that I am lazy. But I am unsure why Bushnell would update it and take a simple feature away that made it super convenient to use.

Great product, better than more expensive brands

Super great product. Used it for rifle and archery hunting. Better than more expensive brands.

  7. Evelyn

    Great

    Works great.

  8. Henry

    Compact, Amazing and Lightweight

Exceptional auto calculation for a target, shooting on downward or upward angles other than level. Outstanding instrument.

  9. Isabella

Fantastic, and you pay for it.

It is a lovely, compact device that works flawlessly. But if you are hunting in a German Revier, chances are that this model has way too much range, and is subsequently way more expensive than one needs. If you are a discriminating gentleman (or gentlewoman), though, who wouldn’t dare toss a cheap looking rangefinder into your sparking clean Land Rover Defender next to your Blaser R8, this is certainly your item. Perhaps you could even have a custom made Loden carrying case made for it…
