A Revolution In Golf Mat Performance

The core fundamental design of TrueStrike is TrueStrike Portable Golf Mat to last and react like grass when hit, allowing golfers to have a realistic practice so they play like fairway pros out on the grass.

The TrueStrike golf mats have a “ruckable” top surface and a gel-filled divot simulating subsurface which accurately recreates the effects of playing off a natural fairway by allowing the club head to play through the playing surface as it would on turf.

5 reviews for TrueStrike Double Golf Hitting Mat

  1. Olivia

    Very Pleased
Very pleased with my new TrueStrike single mat, I tried one at my local driving range and fell in love with the realistic feedback and performance. I was amazed more retailers dont sell them.

  2. Oliver

    Great product.

    Great for home practice.

  3. Noah

    Nice training tool

Works well for me. Just the right size for home, seems sturdy. Moves if you hit the surface hard on your swing but that is a fine compromise to get the smaller size.

  4. Liam

    Good Hitting Mat

Purchased this practice chipping only. The turf is long enough for chipping practice. The weight and quality looks good. I don’t plan on taking full swings on this as I have a true driving range mat for a hitting bay. I suggest spending the extra money if you play on doing full iron swings on turf. This should be good for chipping and hitting off tees.

  5. Emma

    Iron practice

Ordered for practice with irons. Sturdy and works as expected.

The Country Club Elite is our all-time best-selling golf mat and along with Fiberbuilt, is probably the most well-known mat on the market. The CCE golf mat provides a realistic fairway-like feel, you can use a real tee, and provides an all-around very strong value for the price.

Assess Golf Mat Durability

Choose the most durable mat you can afford for lasting use. Most mats have a rubber base with a nylon surface, but the density of the base, the quality of the nylon, and the overall thickness varies. The more durable the mat, the heavier it tends to be.

Mats Increase Your Risk of Injury

But if you’re one of those who tend to hit sharply down and through the ball, the resulting heavy impacts can only lead to aching muscles at best, and incapacitating injuries at worst.

Because of their firm surface, golf mats may scratch your golf clubs. … When it comes to practicing your swing, nothing beats hitting off real grass – and while a mat is a good substitute, it does increase the chance of you doing damage to your golf club.

It’s also important to keep in mind how hitting off a mat affects the way you hit the golf ball itself. Because you’re on a mat, rather than on grass, the club doesn’t have the ability to dig into the ground. So instead, it bounces up off the ground slightly.

FYI, you’ll need to use with a stance mat that is 1.5″ thick in order to be level with the hitting surface if you build a similar one.

Golf Hitting Mat Thickness: 30mm (without rubber base)

Most mats are made from a highly durable nylon surface and rubber base so that they can handle the repeated beating of club strikes over time.

There is no evidence that golf clubs deteriorate over time. Well maintained clubs will last a lifetime. 10+ year old clubs should be checked for better options but clubs less than 5 years old do not need replacing except for wear and tear issues to which wedges and forged irons are most vulnerable.

If you’re serious about improving your golf game, being able to practice indoors without needing to get out to the golf course can be a game-changer. … Golf mats are designed to mimic the feel of a real golf course, and they allow you to freely hit any club in the bag from the comfort of your home.
