The Bushnell ION Elite GPS Golf Watch is a golf-specific wearable device designed to assist golfers on the course. While I couldn’t find any specific information on a model called “ION Elite,” Bushnell does offer several golf GPS watches, including the Bushnell Excel and Bushnell Neo Ion 2.

Too Small, too cheap
We’ve had at least 4 Neo ION watches and we’ve been pleased, This, however, is too small for the touch interface, moving holes, entering data is hard. The GPS distances are fast, but the Bluetooth failed on me quite a bit. I also never got my round data uploaded to the Bushnell app until the next round so I could never “analyze” my round, I would opt for a simpler watch and one thet is more rugged. This is plastic, compared to the Neo ION.
I also had to return my watch to Bushnell because PGA SS would not take back an opened electronic item. They would not replace the watch since they didn’t sell it to me so I also suggest not buying electronics from PGA SS for the future possibility you may need service.

Like it, may grow to love it
I really like the watch, the battery lasts a long time and the yardage appears to be very accurate when compared to my laser. The areas I am undecided on are scoring, shot measurements, switching holes. It could be easier to enter scores and the numbers are not always easy to see. I am still not sure how to measure a shot and am constantly pushing on all sections of the face, same with hole switching.
Even with all that, the watch was a value and I would buy it again.

Bushnell iON Elite Golf GPS Watch – Black
The display is clear and is easy to set up on new courses. It is ready to go out of the box. However, it does have some confusing info concerning hazards which is not easy to understand and isn’t very accurate. Also it has an annoying habit of dropping mid round so you have to recover where you are in the round both your score and the hole on the course. I’ve had better golf GPS watches.

Comfortable watch with lots of great features.
Firstly the GPS watch is very comfortable to wear, and looks great. It has all the usual GPS watch features you’d want and expect at a reasonable price. The screen is easy to read. Navigation through the menu is also easy. It does have bluetooth capability so you could use a smartphone instead.

Bushnell ION ELITE Golf GPS Watch
This is my first golf GPS watch. Very happy I went with the Bushnell ION Elite as it does everything a GPS watch is suppose to do plus more. Full hole view, green view, hazards, approach planner, scorer, etc.
Works seamlessly with the Bushnell app to keep track of your rounds and stats.
