  1. Oliver

Great quality picture with zero lag when using a corded HDMI
Awesome picture quality. This picture is on a regular wall so I can only assume that it will be even better against a regular screen. Highly recommend!

  2. Noah

    Makes my golf simulator pop!
So glad I purchased this BenQ. The picture in my garage for my golf simulator as well as watching sports is fantastic. Would definitely buy again for the basement in the future.

  3. Liam

    Excellent Value for money
Just an all-around great projector. Its not going to give you the best picture on the market but it is definitely a high quality image. I absolutely love it. Onboard speakers are very loud. Not the highest quality that you can get but definitely powerful enough for an outdoor movie with the kids.

  4. Emma

    Awesome
    Great picture

For any given projector, the width of the image (W) relative to the throw distance (D) is know as the throw ratio D/W or distance over width. So for example, the most common projector throw ratio is 2.0. This means that for each foot of image width, the projector needs to be 2 feet away or D/W = 2/1 = 2.0.

For example, the specification “100-inch @ 8ft” means that the minimum distance you will need is 8 ft. from the projector to the wall to get a 100″ screen.

Short throw projectors need to be between 5 and 10 feet away from the screen, depending on how large of an image you want. Short throw projectors have a throw ratio between .

You can use your projector at an angle, just be ready to make some adjustments to the image. Chances are, it will be off-center or distorted at first. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to move the projector, there are ways you can bring the image into focus, either with keystone correction or lens shift.

Projector People recommends the following lumen outputs: Dedicated home theaters need 1000 lumens or brighter. Rooms with some ambient light should have at least 1500 lumens. Spaces with high ambient light need about 3000 lumens.

If you are just mounting the screen on a wall do the projector first, then measure the projected image to be sure you have a square image. Check the length of the left and right edges, they should be equal. Turn the projector toward the smallest side until the two edges are equal.

You don’t need a TV stand or an empty section of wall. As long as your ceiling is painted a muted color close to white and isn’t stucco or popcorn, you’re pretty much good to go. … Assuming you’ve got that clear ceiling space, you can go right ahead and put a projector onto a tripod and point it up.

While projector zoom won’t affect image quality in the case of Optical Zoom, which changes the image size by manipulating light, Digital Zoom can degrade image quality and lead to pixelation because it works by manipulating the source image.
